On the first Sunday of Advent, 2011, along with the rest of the English speaking world, the new translation of the Missale Romanum was fully implemented at St. Michael’s Church in Miami.  Accompanying the new translation was a shift to ad orientam worship and, as has been the custom, the chants of the Mass ordinary from the MR, the proper communion antiphon from the Graduale Romanum, and the seasonal Marian antiphon at the end of Mass.  The chanted Masses beginning with the second Sunday of Advent will also employ the proper entrance antiphon from the Graduale Romanum
