Saint-Saëns at Epiphany

May 10, 2010

The Church of the Epiphany in Miami will present a celebration of the 175-year anniversary of French composer Camille Saint-Saens.

Please mark your calendar for Monday, May 17, at 8pm.

On the program is the powerful Finale from his Symphony #3, called the Organ Symphony because of the prominent organ part; the popular Cello Concerto #1; and a very rare opportunity to hear the beautiful Psalm 18 for chorus and orchestra (Karen Neal, soprano). Our soloist for the concerto will be the brilliant young cellist Erik Asgeirsson from Germany. There is no admission charge and the concert will be about an hour long.
