Music for the 4th Sunday of Advent – Florida Pro Musica

December 12, 2009

Florida Pro Musica Larry Kent, Music Director

Gregorian Chant VII: Mass for the 4th Sunday of Advent

Florida Pro Musica’s seventh annual concert of Gregorian Chant will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in downtown Tampa, Florida at 4:00 p.m. on December 20, 2009. This program recreates a chanted mass as it might have sounded 1,000 years ago, featuring the original Latin with appropriate lessons read in English. These concerts have become a popular Tampa Bay tradition, and offer a welcome respite from the frantic pace of the season.  Enjoy the meditative sounds of Gregorian Chant in one of Tampa’s most beautiful churches.  A reception with the musicians follows the 45- minute concert.

Concert Sponsors:  George & Andrea Gramling.
